About the project
Alongside the public site, K Bella needed internal tools to manage their 28-person team. We built a password-protected staff portal on the same ProcessWire installation, giving stylists and management a central hub accessible from any device.
The portal includes an Upload Photos & Video section where stylists share before, during, and after shots with management. A Photo Archive lets the team view and download all staff photo submissions in one place. The Extension/Topper/Wig Orders tool lets stylists submit and track hair extension, topper, and wig orders. A Restock Tracker monitors product inventory with live out-of-stock alerts. And a Supply Catalog Review tool lets management audit and manage the salon's complete supply catalog.
Each team member logs in with their own credentials and sees a personalized dashboard. The entire portal runs within the same CMS as the public site, so there's no separate system to maintain.
Results
The outcome
The portal replaced group texts, printed memos, and scattered spreadsheets with a single platform. Photo submissions that used to come through text messages now go through a proper upload workflow. The restock tracker catches out-of-stock items before they become a problem, and the supply catalog keeps the team aligned on what products are available. Staff adopted it immediately since it lives on the same domain they already knew.
